mOSn is a multidisciplinary artist bridging the worlds of classical and new media art. His career as an animator and 3D artist stemmed from an obsessive interest in character design, sculpture, dance and movement. After graduating from the College of Fine Art (BFA - UNSW, Sydney) mOSn pursued his career as a professional artist and animator contributing to films including Superman Returns, Edge of Tomorrow and Gravity. In 2014 he founded a new media art collective creating commercial experiential projects. Currently fusing a love of history, sculpture and esoteric religious symbology using classical and new media tools, mOSn’s work attempts to evoke a sense of the soul while preserving and paying respect to the canon of historical imagery and symbolism that was intended for the same purpose. He uses old and new media as a vehicle to deepen our connection to the past rather than disconnect us from it.
